Scorpio Sky : No Direction

Are You Paying Attention?": Scorpio Sky is Done Being Just 'King of AEW DARK'

Why did SCU break up? Was it because Christopher Daniels semi-retired and then went to Impact? I don’t recall Frankie Kazazian being injured at the time. So why put Scorpio Sky with Ethan Page? Maybe they could’ve added Page to SCU and complete the faction. Right now, Sky is being wasted. Teaming with American Top Team sounded good in theory, but having the MMA talents aren’t doing Sky any favors. They aren’t enhancing Sky’s screentime, if anything they are being overused and Sky is being pushed aside on his own team. And now that the team is dissolved where is he going? Wearing nice clothes and losing isn’t a character that’s worth watching.

But where do you see Scorpio Sky going and does he have a real future in AEW?

Luchasaurus : Turn Heel?

Luchasaurus News, Pictures, Videos and Biography News, Pictures, Videos, Stats and Biography - AEW

Is it bad that I want Luchasaurus to turn heel on Jungle Boy? I predict his heel turn to look similar to Tommaso Ciampa turning on Johnny Gargano. Maybe have the Jurassic Express win the tag titles, Jungle Boy getting pinned and Luchasaurus taking his frustrations out on him. Setting up for a series of matches that will end in Jungle Boy becoming victorious.

Tommaso Ciampa and the 10 Most Heartbreaking WWE Heel Turns of All Time | Bleacher Report | Latest News, Videos and Highlights

Luchasaurus is a good wrestler, but I don’t see him as AEW Champion the way he is now. A heel turn would give him that extra edge and put him on a path of his own. The problem is does Luchasaurus have enough to be a singles star? Is he someone that can realistically survive in AEW on his own?

Who Should Be the Next James Bond? Vote for Your Choice (Based on the Latest Odds!) | James Bond, Poll, Polls | Just Jared

I hate being the smartest man in the world. To be constantly blessed and cursed knowledge. Like who should play the next James Bond going forward. After Bond died in No Time to Die, there has been a lot of speculation of who should take over the mantel going forward. Actors like Idris Elba, Henry Cavil, Tom Hardy and others have been rumored to be in the running, but I think I have the perfecting casting for the next James Bond. None of them.

I wouldn’t look to recast the role at all. Instead, I would continue the James Bond universe with the characters that are in it already and simply make new agents. I loved Lashana Lynch as Nomi in No Time to Die and think she should be made into 008 or something. Maybe then bring in the other rumored actors to help round out the world and bring 008 some teammates.

Nomi's 007 Future After No Time To Die: Will She Return In Bond 26?

The role of James Bond is a very big role to fill and there is no good answer of who should fill the role. I think Daniel Craig was the best Bond. Mainly because it felt like his movies had continuity to them. The other previous Bond series didn’t really have weight to them. And with the Craig series, the events of Casino Royal impacted No Time To Die.

For the studio to go full reboot would mean we have to introduce the world again, recast all the characters again, are they going to redo the whole Spector organization? It just makes sense to continue the series with Nomi and maybe introduce other characters along the way, maybe expand the universe even more and have them go off on their own missions or series.

No Time To Die: Everything we know about the new James Bond film

Right now, the world of Bond is perfectly laid out and recasting the iconic role won’t benefit the company at all. But what do you guys think? Should the role be recasted? Should Nomi continue to be the lead agent? Or are they going full reboot?

Don’t Sign Him!

Who Is Danhausen And Why Is He Your New Favorite Wrestler? - GameSpot

I’m hearing rumors that AEW is looking to sign free agent wrestler Danhausen to the company. I can’t think of a worst waste of time signing. I will admit my knowledge of Danhausen is very limited. I haven’t watched every single moment of his career or watched every video he posted BUT I did watch enough of his current matches and videos to learn all I needed to form an opinion.

Danhausen & Mance Warner Suffer Leg Injuries on Halloween Show

Danhausen is a gimmick comedic wrestler and that’s it. His wrestling ability is “okay” at best. His comedy is eh. His character I guess is looking to be the Joker on crack, but is that enough to warrant a contract to the best wrestling company in the world right now? Absolutely not.

Now I will argue against signing characters who are prop comedy, but at the same time defend Orange Cassidy. Because Cassidy has a Jekyll and Hyde style of wrestling. In the beginning of the matches Cassidy will joke around and play to the crowd, but in a second turn into Mr. Hyde and become an imposing force. Cassidy and Danhausen are not even close in wrestling ability and character likability.

A Drink at the Inn With: Danhausen – Wrestle Inn

More importantly, AEW’s roster is so massive that a lot of wrestlers are being pushed aside for new talent. When Bryan Danielson signed with AEW he was featured in extremely long matches to start, and when he was feuding with Hangman Page, he was featured in Dynamites a few weeks in a row. That takes time away from other talents. Especially when Dynamite is only a 2-hour show.

Another great example is when Jay Lethal signed to AEW. Lethal had an amazing debut against Sammy Guevara and then after he was moved to Dark, teamed with Sonny Kiss and is essentially out of any major storyline.

Love That Danhausen

So, if Danhausen is signed to AEW, what would he be in the company? He wouldn’t be looked at as a top tier wrestler like Kenny Omega. He won’t be booked to be the next big like hook. He wouldn’t be a slow burn rising up the ranks like a Jungle Boy or Darby Allin. He would be just a filler in Dark or Elevation. He might find himself standing across the ring facing Adam Cole and I say that because I enjoy watching Adam Cole get annoyed with other wrestlers. But realistically, I don’t see a point in signing Danhausen. He’s not the guy to take your company to the next level or a signing so great it puts other companies out of business.

So what do you think of Danhausen?

Shane McMahon Done?

There are plans for Shane McMahon to wrestle at WWE WrestleMania - Wrestling News

It’s been reported, but not fully elaborated, that Shane McMahon has been released by the WWE or his creative writes have been taken away. I’m reading many conflicting reports on this, but essentially the fallout is about his booking of the Royal Rumble. He apparently inserted himself in the match and was one of the final competitors in it.

The choice of having Brock Lesnar win the Rumble was the smart and correct choice. It doesn’t matter if Lesnar is mostly a part timer, his storyline with Roman Reigns is the best one in all of wrestling now. Shane having input in that ending wasn’t insulting to the roster. Shane putting himself in the match wasn’t annoying for me.

I never thought Shane wasn’t a good wrestler, but I did think he was pushed in matches he shouldn’t be in. He shouldn’t be on a Survivor Series team; he shouldn’t have been in the Best in the World final. I guess the reason why is because Shane is also being booked as a part timer.

Report: Shane McMahon back with WWE through WrestleMania 38 - Cageside Seats

Shane is actually a very good wrestler. He can really sell a move and has the ability to keep up in a match, but sometimes he does look too over powered, especially with the punches. And a lot of the matches he’s in have to have some kind of dramatic hardcore moment, because he’s not as dynamic as other wrestlers.

My only issue with the Rumble was the exclusion of Cesaro and Finn Balor and a few others. Bad Bunny wasn’t a death sentence to the Rumble either. I don’t think he’s a bad athlete, but maybe having him in so late was the issue. For me, the Rumble doesn’t really start until like number 20, after all the cannon fodder have been thrown out.

I am hearing reports that working with Shane is very stressful, because apparently if he doesn’t get his way he pulls rank and forces changes. If that’s the case then yes I support him being let go from that position, but if this is a matter of it wasn’t the ending some fans wanted then that’s an unfair firing or demotion.

Brian Kendrick: Love It / Hate It

Brian Kendrick, former WWE wrestler, has finally be granted his release from the company and instantly got signed to AEW AND has a match tonight against Jon Moxley!

I love the signing because Kendrick was probably one of the most undervalued and underrated WWE wrestlers in his time there. He held the Tag Titles with Paul London, but wasn’t as talked about as they should’ve been. The Tag division at that time was very limited. Even when Kendrick had singles run, it was still lack lustered and devoid of any impact. I would’ve to see Kendrick as that Dark Horse wrestler that would be just at the cusp of stardom for years before finally squeezing into the title picture to win it all. Kendrick on AEW adds a whole bunch of dream matches and factions he can be apart of. He still looks in great shape and still carries the same charisma, so no reason why he can’t create some big moments in AEW.

I hate the signing of Kendrick in AEW. Yeah, he has a match against Jon Moxley to start his AEW career, but do we really expect him to win this match? And more importantly, spring board Kendrick into the top tier? Jay Lethal showed up, had a great match against Sammy Guevara and is now buried on Dark. Kendrick and Lethal deserve a lot more respect than that. Both men can still put on a great match, both men are in great shape.

What do you think of Brian Kendrick signing with AEW and how far is his ceiling?

Bullseye : Marvel Strike Force

Marvel Strike Force - 5-Stars Bullseye - YouTube

Bullseye’s Killshot move might be the only reason to keep him around. You can’t beat 420% damage on 1 target. Obviously, Bullseye has amazing Accuracy, which does come in handy with enemies that have Blinding attacks. But overall, he’s not impressing me. His attacks don’t have enough perks to them and his bonuses aren’t enough to invest a lot in to.

Cain Velasquez : Needed Better Booking

Cain Velasquez makes worrying guarantee to Brock Lesnar ahead of WWE Crown Jewel showdown | WWE | Sport | Express.co.uk

I would’ve kept Cain Velasquez with the Mysterios for the beginning of his WWE career. They brought him in to lose to Brock Lesnar with very little effort, which after I saw that I imagined this would be leading towards a WrestleMania rematch with Lesnar and potentially winning the WWE Championship.

After the initial loss, I thought he story going forward was to learn from Rey, be taken under his wing, develop his wrestling ability and start moving up the ladder. Maybe winning the Royal Rumble or Money in the Bank. Either way would’ve been a good way to push Velasquez to a big title match.

The WWE doesn’t have many fighters like Velasquez on the roster, Lesnar is the closest thing to that. So having a wrestler on the roster with those abilities would be an asset. Maybe even have both of them on separate brands and the two can meet up at Survivor Series, both as champions.

But what do you think of Velasquez’s time in wrestling and how would you have booked him?

El Camino : Better Filler Episode

Netflix releases second trailer for 'El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie' | KRQE News 13

This review is kind of difficult for me. The Breaking Bad tv show ended almost 6 years before this movie came out and I don’t know who it’s made for. It doesn’t have the Breaking Bad feel to it and even though it has the same writing staff, they seem to forget the character they’re writing about.

Aaron Paul is a tremendous actor, but his best roles are as a costar rather than the clear lead, which isn’t a disrespect to his acting ability. Take Oscar winning actor Christopher Walken. Won an Oscar for best Supporting role in The Deer Hunter and earned a best Supporting Nomination for Catch Me If You Can. In fact, most of Walken’s iconic roles were as a supporting actor.

El Camino: is the Breaking Bad movie worth the wait? Discuss with spoilers | Breaking Bad | The Guardian

And Jesse Pinkman, played by Paul, is the kind of character who can take command of a scene or two but not a whole feature film. And the writers kept switching Jesse’s character when the plot fit it. Some scenes he has a deep Batman voice, being level headed and one step ahead in some scenes and in others he’s just kinda clueless. There was never an established voice for Jesse and the whole movie might’ve just been better as inserted scenes into the actual show to give it some more depth.

But lets just into the plot so you can see for yourself.

The movie starts off with Jesse and Mike Ehrmantraut….try saying that 3 times fast…it’s a nice quiet connecting scene where the two men discuss the idea of leaving the meth business and starting over. Mike explains that Alaska is nice. The scene then quickly transitions to Jesse minutes after the Breaking Bad series finale. Fresh out of a shootout and fleeing the police. He eventually finds safety at the house of his friends Stinky Pete and Cougar. Now I know that’s not their names, but when you wait 6 years between show and movie, I don’t have time to relearn everyone’s backstory. And that might be the biggest problem with the movie. So much time has passed that now I have to either rewatch the entire series or try to remember where everyone was at the finale. Also, characters look a lot different and I don’t remember if all these minor characters where in the actual show.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie Review - HeyUGuys

So Jesse hides the El Camino in the backyard and passes out for the night.  He awakens in a panic, imagining that he is still captured by The Brotherhood, a name I had to look up again. Jesse takes a shower and shaves off his beard and hair, much to the dismay of Pete because when you’re being hunted by the police and others, its best to look like the only picture they have of you on file. This is Jesse being Jesse. Jesse trades cars with his friends and goes off to Todd’s apartment. Where he spends the entire night looking for Todd’s hidden stash of cash.

We are then shown a long and rather amazing flashback of Jesse helping out Todd, played by Jesse Plemons, get rid of a body. Since Todd looks a lot different since the TV show, I actually forgot all of their previous interactions and thought this was a new character entirely.

After the two bury the body in the desert, Jesse grabs Todd’s gun out of the car and for a brief moment I thought this is where Jesse gets away. Because why would you give up the gun to a guy who is clearly going to put you back in the cage or kill you, especially when you have such a distance between you two. Again, Jesse being Jesse.

Jesse Plemons Speaks Out About Role In El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie - LADbible

We cut back to Jesse finally able to locate the money, but a pair of police officers, Casey and Neil, walk in and a standoff ensures. Jesse surrenders to them and he quickly learns they aren’t real police and are just looking for the same money Todd has stashed. How they know about Todd’s money, don’t know.

Jesse reveals to them he knows where it is and Jesse bargains with Neil into letting him take some of the money. Neil agrees and they part ways. Not before Jesse sees the van Neil is driving and remembers that Neil built his cage.

Jesse then drives to Ed Gaibraith’s vacuum shop. Now, for those who have photographic memories, this the man who helps people disappear and apparently Jesse owes him 125 thousand for a job that never happened. So it’s going to cost Jesse an additional 125 thousand on top of the first one to help him disappear. This might be the best scene of the entire movie and the most accurate to Jesse’s character.

New Behind-the-Scenes Video for EL CAMINO: A BREAKING BAD MOVIE Dives into the Story It Will Tell — GeekTyrant

Jesse is only $1,800 short and has to find a way to get it. He first calls his parents and pretends to ask them to pick him up somewhere, leaving the house empty for Jesse to rob. He doesn’t find money, but instead finds an old 22 caliber pistol.

Jesse then goes to the only other person who has money, Neil and Casey, who are in the middle of having a cocaine and hookers party. Jesse tries to appeal to Neil’s humility and simply asks for the money. Neil has a better idea, which I imagine is the result of cocaine and hookers. He wants to duel Jesse for the money. With assassin like precision, Jesse kills Neil. Casey then grabs for the gun and the two exchange bullets, Casey missing every shot and Jesse eventually hits him. Jesse blows the place up and drives away with the money.

Breaking Bad Movie: How El Camino Reunited Walter and Jesse

The next scene is a flashback of Jesse and Walter White, played by Brian Cranston, as the two sit at a diner talking about life. A very great scene and feels perfectly written for Jesse and Walter. Then we get to the finale, Jesse wakes up in the back of a moving van driven by Ed and emerge in Alaska. Ed quizzes Jesse on his new identity. Jesse hands Ed a letter to send to Brock, who again I had to look up who that was. Jesse then drives off, quick flashback of his ex-girlfriend Jane and that’s the movie.

Was it good movie? Not at all. Like I said this more felt like filler scenes in the series rather than a standalone film. I felt like the writing of Jesse went in so many directions that it didn’t feel like the original character. Aside from a few short scenes, Jesse is unrecognizable in this movie. Jesse was never the “stand and fight type”. Instead of dueling Neil, it might’ve made more sense character wise for Jesse to rob the pimp outside the complex.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie Blu-ray (SteelBook)

Jesse was never a big planner in the show. Sure, sometimes he did impress Walter with a great idea, but was never the brains of the group. At times Jesse didn’t even possess the best street smarts. The sheer fact that Walter kept Jesse around as long was because Walter didn’t have anyone else around. And Walter seemed to connect with Jesse more, maybe because Jesse was the cool one, someone that Walter wanted around. He liked teaching Jesse and watching him grow. Maybe Jesse was the son Walter never had, in the sense where he can have the father son relationship with Jesse and not spill over into his actual family life.

I wonder of this movie would be better if I didn’t watch the series before watching this? What do you guys think?

Crossbones : Marvel Strike Force

Crossbones | Marvel Strike Force Wiki | Fandom

Crossbones is one of the first characters you can unlock through the Events. All new users in this game start off with the Crossbones and Electra events. He’s not the best character you can get, but he still helps you a lot early on. He has just a simple attack, a Taunt with a 1-2 Counter you can upgrade, but his main use is his Detonate attack. Detonate gives him 2 Death Proof and hurts all enemies for 440% damage. It can’t miss, but it can be dodged. Either way this is the one reason I keep Crossbones around. There have been many matches where that Detonate saved my characters.

Would I recommend using him? Kinda. Like I said before, he’s mainly in my rotation because he’s easy to upgrade. His attack does have a chance of a bonus attack and does Defense Down, but it’s not like stacked on Bleeds or anything worse.
