X-23 : Marvel Strike Force

Easily one of my favorite characters in the game. X-23 has all the healing abilities as Wolverine, but I mainly use her because of the attack Feral Rage, which attacks the most damaged opponent for 4 attacks and if that enemy gets defeated, she continues the attack on to the next most damaged opponent. So, depending on how powerful the targets you can take out many opponents in one attack.

Thor : Marvel Strike Force

0 downside to Thor. He deals a ton of damage on his 1st attack; his 2nd attack damages adjacent targets and his 3rd attack shoots lightening at all opponents and Stuns them. He is part of the Cosmic and Mystic classes so you can use him for the long run. I’m also leveling up Heimdall and Loki as well so all 3 give each other Asgardian buffs. And eventually the more damage Thor takes, he’s able to unleash a massive counter that hurts all opponents. Thor is a character that is built to be in a lot of starting rotations so I highly recommend putting a lot of points into him.

Namor : Marvel Strike Force

I hate Namor. Don’t know why, but as soon as I got him, I’ve been trying to get him out of my main Villain squad, but he’s so easy to level up and does so much damage that I’m forced to keep him. Obviously, I’m drawn to characters that Summon other characters to my team or have more Perks and Bleeds to their moves. Namor doesn’t impress on paper, but somehow, he’s gotten me through a lot of the game as soon as I unlocked him. So, I don’t know if I recommend him. He will get you over the hump I think, but in the end, I keep him around until I get something better.

Punisher : Marvel Strike Force

There really isn’t anything special about the Punisher. He feels like a more powerful Minion character. Attacks are simple, no real added Perks to them and his categories aren’t vast enough to put a lot of focus into. I wouldn’t bother with the Punisher in any aspect.

Crossbones : Marvel Strike Force

Crossbones | Marvel Strike Force Wiki | Fandom

Crossbones is one of the first characters you can unlock through the Events. All new users in this game start off with the Crossbones and Electra events. He’s not the best character you can get, but he still helps you a lot early on. He has just a simple attack, a Taunt with a 1-2 Counter you can upgrade, but his main use is his Detonate attack. Detonate gives him 2 Death Proof and hurts all enemies for 440% damage. It can’t miss, but it can be dodged. Either way this is the one reason I keep Crossbones around. There have been many matches where that Detonate saved my characters.

Would I recommend using him? Kinda. Like I said before, he’s mainly in my rotation because he’s easy to upgrade. His attack does have a chance of a bonus attack and does Defense Down, but it’s not like stacked on Bleeds or anything worse.

The Code

James Gunn Hints at RAVAGERS Film Featuring the Original GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY - Nerdist

Remember in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, where Yondu was ousted from the Ravagers by breaking the sacred code? I find it weird that a coalition of murderous, thieving space pirates operate under a strict code of not kidnapping children.

What do you guys think?

Drax : Marvel Strike Force

Marvel Strike Force Trailer: Drax Should Always Go First

Drax gains Taunt on Summon which could be a good thing or, in my case, a really bad thing. Drax is usually the first to be killed in my party. Taunt at the beginning I feel isn’t a good idea since you’re facing a full team. The Guardians of the Galaxy I feel really aren’t that impressive to use so no reason to put a lot of devotion into Drax. His attacks are ok and that’s it. Not a lot of unique things about Drax to keep him around.

I Called It

Marvel Phase 4 is off to a terrible start. The movies and shows are just remaking the old favorites.

Steve Let Sharon down

Civil War: Why Steve Rogers Really Kissed Sharon Carter

After watching Falcon and the Winter Soldier I was left wondering why didn’t Steve Rogers help Sharon Carter out? After she helped Rogers in Civil War, she was backlisted and forced to move to Europe and eventually become the Power Broker. Carter wasn’t always evil, but being on her own, cutting all ties with SHIELD, essentially being betrayed by the very government she swore to uphold all compounded to make her into a criminal.

Rogers was able to smuggle Bucky into Wakanda. Why couldn’t he do the same for Carter? And in Infinity War, Rogers, Falcon and Black Widow were able to keep tabs on Vision and Wanda. Why didn’t Rogers get Sharon into that group? How was he ok with her moving to a place controlled by gangs and kingpins? Just seemed like he really dropped the ball on Carter and could’ve saved her from a life on crime.

Marvel Strike Force

Which Wave I Avengers Team do I create in Marvel Strike Force? - Pro Game Guides

Probably one of the most overused types of mobile games, but still an extremely fun game for Marvel Fans. Strike Force has you assemble your team of 5 Marvel heroes and villain to take on enemies in turn-based battle.

The Campaign isn’t really important to me. This is a farming type of game, so the story isn’t that impactful to me. There are (right now) 7 different campaigns you have to get your team through. Very challenging and most important necessary to get all the gear and shards you need to make the strongest team possible.

To unlock new characters, you have to acquire their shards. Some characters like Jean Grey are 510 shards while simpler characters like Hydra Grenadier are only 15 shards. You can find shards through boss battles, Events, loot boxes or with special giveaways for signing in continuously.

You start the game with a certain amount of Energy, which depletes as you do battles, but can gain more by simply waiting for it to replenish or use your Power Cores, which you get through doing tasks.

Marvel Strike Force: Top 5 characters to farm for raids

To make your characters stronger you need to spend Gold and XP, but to upgrade their Gear you need to find Item shards. Certain battles and bosses randomly give you the chance to get what you need to make your characters stronger.

Each character has 2-3 moves and some characters have an extra ability to unlock. Again, through battles you gain the Ability Materials that you can use to level up those skills.

The game does a great job to make you want to level up all your characters by having Daily Challenges. Each character has specific Classes they are put into. Hand Blademaster is part of the Villain, City, Skill, Brawler, Hand and Minion classes. Thor is under the Hero, Cosmic, Mystic, Blaster, Asgardian and Wave 1 Avenger class. Some days there will be special events that need you to use only Blaster types, which make you want you have upgraded Blaster types to take on your enemies.

The Brotherhood of Mutants arrive in Marvel Strike Force

There are Daily Objectives you can chose to do, but if you do them you get a massive number of materials for your team. Other game modes are Blitz battles where you gain Blitz points so you can open up loot boxes or buy the materials or shards you want. Arena battles, Alliance Battles, the list goes on and on for things to do in this game.

The roster is ever expanding with new Marvel movies and shows coming out. The character Shang-Chi came out to coincide with the movie in theaters. With the Eternals movie soon to come out I imagine all the Eternals will be playable characters.

Game UX: analyzing the experience of two major mobile games | by Ahmed Ayoub | UX Collective

Marvel Strike Force is a free to play game that gives you a lot to do and always makes things interesting. I give it a 10/10. There isn’t much I would add to this game. The creators give you a ton of things to do, a massive roster, reasons to play every day, visually beautiful and lets you have your favorite Marvel characters fight together.
