Big E: E-Mania Run

Big E is an EXTREMLY deserving WWE Champion. I think he should’ve been champion instead of Kofi Kingston. Big E has the size, the look, the moves and the feel of a long reigning champion in the WWE, but I don’t like how he won the belt from Bobby Lashley.

I feel like the Money in the Bank briefcase should be for two types of wrestlers; heels and new faces of the company. Do we really think Nikki Cross had a real chance of beating Charlotte without that briefcase? Did the Miz have a real shot at beating Drew McIntyre? No.

The Money in the Bank briefcase elevates wrestlers to where they can beat much better wrestlers quickly. Big E didn’t need that elevation. Big E should be fighting against Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns on a daily basis.  The WWE should’ve given Big E a yearlong elevation, setting him up for a nice singles career ending in a championship.

What do you think about Big E’s title reign so far and who should he fight next?

Mansoor: Its Time

Mansoor thanks hometown fans: WWE Super ShowDown 2020 (WWE Network Exclusive) - YouTube

The WWE has to go all in on Mansoor. Their NXT Middle East expansion is making progress and Mansoor is going to be a major piece. When they made a UK division of NXT, they built up Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne as the cornerstones of the brand. When Dunne won the title, I was surprised how long they kept him in the United States. He was going on a record title run and not defending it in the UK, but there was a plan all along. Make Dunne one of the top guys on NXT and he will bring the audience to the UK.

Mansoor needs to be that pushed superstar to bring fans to the new NXT brand. The problem is he’s ok. He’s put on impressive matches against Cesaro and Mustafa Ali, but these two men can make anyone look better than they are. The WWE isn’t putting enough effort into Mansoor as they should. Dunne was very unique is his style of wrestling. The finger snaps, the elbows, the Bitten End is one of the best-looking finishers today.

Mansoor doesn’t have anything that makes him stand out. I think his finisher is the springboards neck breaker, but I’m not really sure. I would send him away for about 6 months. Have him hit the gym, develop a finisher that nobody has ever seen before and really start his push. Because if its not him, then who are you building up?

So what do you think about Mansoor and if you were booking him who would he feud with?

Why I Love Hook

Update On AEW Training Progress Of Hook - WrestleTalk

I know its doesn’t make any sense. And I know how stupid it is to say it. And I know there’s no reason why I feel this way, but I love Hook. He hasn’t done anything in AEW except a few cheap shots to unsuspecting opponents. But I believe there is a plan for Hook. Team Taz is starting to look VERY interesting with the addition of Dante Martin, but I still hate that they got rid of Brian Cage. Martin is going to be a major player on Team Taz and now is the perfect time to unleash Hook on the roster.

Hooks time in AEW reminds me of Pacman Jones in TNA Wrestling. Jones wasn’t allowed to touch any of the wrestlers, but somehow had matches where he won by distracting wrestlers by throwing money at them or from outside assistance. Hook is being billed just like that, but will soon be in the fold. I would copy his father, Taz’s, move set. Just go all in on suplexes, submissions and power moves.

ftw on Twitter: "My favorite moments of the Street Fight. @MrGMSI_BCage @starkmanjones @TrueWillieHobbs @730hook #AEWRevolution https://t.co/ZnFcDIevOh" / Twitter

I think the first feud I would have for Hook would be against Orange Cassidy. Cassidy can make anyone look good with his sloth style and since Cassidy is a fan favorite, you’ll have a great crowd for that match.

But what do you guys think of Hook and what feuds would you like to see him in?

Omos The Next Giant?

The Undertake said “There will never be another Andre (The Giant), but this guy is as close as we’ve come, and that’s a big statement…Omos is special” has the Undertake ever heard of Braun Strowman? I could argue that Strowman is the best big man since The Big Show, who when the Big Show was starting out he was compared to Andrea The Giant.

Omos is ok to me. I think him teaming with AJ Styles has resulted in Styles looking weaker as of late. The pairing seems more like a comedy gimmick rather than a team that will dominate. If they want to put Omos in that top tier of wrestlers than maybe a feud with Styles would be best. Have them win the tag titles, lose them as a result of Styles. Maybe a miscommunication where he hits Omos and then simply have him turn on Styles. Not the most original idea, but it would be effective.

Then have them fight at WrestleMania, make Omos the winner and keep his momentum going from there. I do agree with the Undertaker where if there was someone to eventually be in that Andrea Class then it can be Omos, but you have to book him as the face of the company. Maybe a feud with Roman Reigns would be interesting to see.

But what do you guys think of Omos so far and what would be the best way to make him a superstar?

Next Raw Championship Challengers

WWE Champion

Big E hasn’t been champion for very long and hasn’t had a REAL feud yet. Kevin Owens is AEW bound after his contract expires. Finn Baylor isn’t written to be a superstar anymore and is probably AEW bound. Edge is older and unless they are making him heel then its not a good fit. Which leads to Seth Rollins being the obvious choice in this. Seth and Big E do have history. Big E beat Rollins for the NXT Championship and that can be a good storytelling point. Seth has the ability to make anyone look incredible in the ring. He has the mic skills to carry any promo. Big E can benefit from having Rollins as an opponent for a few weeks and into a PPV main event, especially if Rollins acquires a tag team to face the New Day.

Raw Women’s Champion

I see Bianca Belair and 3 women who shouldn’t be anywhere near a championship. I have no idea why fans like Liv Morgan. I haven’t seen anything out of Morgan that made me think she has the potential to be in the championship picture. Carmella has never been impressive as a wrestler. Her best work was being the 3rd with Enzo and Big Cass a few years ago. Zelina Vega is weirdly being pushed even though her husband in in AEW which is where she will likelyt go afrter her contract expires. Besides that she doesn’t wrestle well enough to be in the title picutree and shouldn’t have won Queen of the Ring.

Belar has the ability to be in the title picture for the rest of her career. I still see another triple threat match involving Sasha Banks, but if it doesn’t go that way the Beliar is the clear, obvious and only choice to take on Becky Lynch.

United States Champion

Huge fan of Keith Lee. Even bigger fan of Karrion Kross. Apollo Crews is just cannon fodder at this point. But Austin Theory needs this title match. Theory had a great match on NXT with Tommaso Ciampa, then got shot up to the main roster and put in pointless tag matches, then got sent back down to NXT to be Johnny Gargano’s idiot friend and now he’s back on the main roster feuding with Jeff Hardy. WWE Creative hasn’t done a good job with Austin Theory so far. Having him fight against Damien Priest would be the perfect opponent for Theory. Certainly, a chance to get Theory a boost in popularity which could eventually lead him into the main title picture.

Raw Tag Team Champion

Really glad AJ Styles and Omos aren’t on this list. The team of RK-Bro has been oddly entertaining and Randy Orton seems to be having fun with Matt Riddle. I hated the Street Profits. Angelo Dawkins is holding Montez Ford back from a very successful singles run. The Mysterio family isn’t interesting enough to be in this picture. Sure, Orton and Mysterio have history, but Dominik Mysterio isn’t equipped for a match like this. he should’ve been on NXT instead of being shot up to the main roster. Chad Gable and Otis seem to be the only logical choice. Both men have been devoid of a sense of purpose for months, but I like the pairing. Gable has been jumping from tag team to tag team hoping one will stick and Otis’s best days were when he did have a tag partner. Both men have a ying and yang with their abilities, each bringing something unique to the table. I don’t think ant team is deserving, but if I had to chose one then it would be Gable and Otis.

WWE 2K22

Surprising WWE 2K22 Release Date Announced Plus New Info

I’m hearing bad rumors about the new WWE 2K22. Since the failure of 2K20 and Battlegrounds, the decision has been made to reinvent the wheel and model their game after No Mercy which was released in 2000 for the N64.

Sports games are some of the easiest games to shoot out. Fans are just paying for an updated roster, new moves, and graphics. We aren’t asking the gaming companies to do anything too drastic. I know I can’t speak for all wrestling game fans, but I don’t need much to make me happy. The best addition to the games is the community creations.

AEW Video Game To Be Better Than WWE 2K Series?

The WWE should embrace AEW as a marketable tool. I still play 2K19 all the time, my created wrestler slots are completely filled with AEW, Impact and NJPW wrestlers from the community creations. The WWE should make it even easier to bring wrestlers from other promotions into this game. Give us all their moves, give us the ability make their gear, give us a ton of slots to build a massive roster. How is this bad for the WWE? Honestly, if their game is better than AEW’s and has the ability to bring in all their wrestlers, then why wouldn’t fans buy this game over theirs?

The WWE’s problem since AEW’s creation has been competition, but making your enemy an asset without having to lose anything is a win.

What do you think?

I’m Ready To Get Hurt Again

I think the WWE is doing everything right with Goldberg vs Bobby Lashley. The setup is tremendous. Making it a non-title match is a smart idea because Goldberg as champion now wouldn’t make sense. The Extreme Rules match will add a lot of creativity to it and take the pressure off the aging Goldberg. The Hurt Business and Goldberg’s son can interfere without a DQ. And I already figured out the perfect ending.

  • A pair of tables is set up outside the ring
  • Cedric Alexander gets tossed from the ring into the tables outside
  • Shelton Benjamin springboards into a Goldberg Spear
  • Goldberg taunts
  • Lashley grabs him from behind and administers the Hurt Lock
  • Goldberg’s son low blows Lashley
  • Goldberg hits the spear and pins Lashley with the Jackhammer for the win

Not a bad ending to the feud. Goldberg isn’t the same as he was in WCW or his short first time in the WWE. An Extreme Rules match like this can give Goldberg more to do with weapons and Lashley and the rest of the Hurt Business can take more of the hits.

Will it be a good match? We’ll know in a few weeks. Let me know what you guys think of the match ending and what’s next for these 2 wrestlers.

AEW Is In Trouble

Yes, the company that forever changed the wrestling industry is in trouble. Not with the product—they’re putting on some of the best matches in wrestling and the build-up to Pay Per Views is perfect storytelling. Their viewership is breaking records every week. So, what’s the problem?

AEW is hiring too many wrestlers in such a short amount of time.

Here is a small list of AEW wrestlers that I think should be in the title picture:

Adam PageLance Archer
Adam ColeMalakai Black
AndradeThe Young Bucks
Brian CageMJF
Bryan DanielsonMiro
Cody RhodesPac
Darby AllinPentagon Jr
Jon MoxleyRey Fenix
Jungle boyWardlow

Do we think that Kenny Omega, the greatest wrestler of all time, won’t win the championship again? That Jon Moxley and Chris Jericho won’t be in the title picture for the rest of their AEW career? There are now rumblings—more specifically, the Mrs. Cage, and her very vocal outrage over his poor bookings—that Brian Cage is looking to make the jump to the WWE.

Cage’s debut should’ve annoyed a lot of AEW talent. He was the final entrant in the Casino Ladder Match, won within minutes of entering the match, and earned a title shot against Moxley. Debut and title match: same year. Same day. Same hour. Meanwhile, Darby Allin and others get pushed aside.

Ruby Soho, former WWE talent Ruby Riott, showed up as the final entrant in the Casino Battle Royale, won and earned a title match. Meanwhile other talents like Anna Jay, Tay Conti, and Penelope Ford are pushed aside for new talent. AEW sells free agent talents on big matches and title opportunities—just sign up!—which in turn pushes aside the talent that’s been there from the beginning.

So how do they fix it?

  • Split the roster evenly down the middle.
  • Remove the AEW Championship name entirely and make AEW Rampage into a 2 hour show with its own title.
  • You keep AEW Dark on YouTube and, rather than a squash show, make it a show where talents outside the fold can stay in the public eye.
  • Make the FTW Championship a title only for Dark.
  • Rampage also needs a mid-card and tag team championship. AEW has to utilize Impact Wrestling and NJPW to send wrestlers over there when their storylines become stale.

AEW is doing a lot of things right, but if they don’t make serious changes to their business model, their homegrown talent will start heading over to the WWE.

Let me know what you guys think. Is AEW on the verge of losing their top talent? Or will they stick it out?

Why Do people like him?
