Dante Martin Joins Team Taz, Baffles Darius Martin & Lio Rush

Dante Martin has signed with Team Taz and smartly ditched Lio Rush. I’m wondering if this means Rush will maybe start his own team and battle Team Taz eventually. The Acclaimed have been also making a push to sign Martin, but failed as well. Could Rush team up with The Acclaimed? Maybe The Hybrid 2 can make an appearance. They’ve also been out for a while.

I wonder if this means Hook will finally be in an AEW match finally. I love the idea of Hook and I think they are just waiting for the right time to let him wrestle. I just hope Martin doesn’t double cross Team Taz in favor of Rush. Rush does need something going on, but clearly Martin is making the jump into bigger and better things. Would be nice to see Martin and Powerhouse Hobbs team up and try to take the tag titles from the Lucha Brothers.

But what do you think?

Mojo Rawley I Had High Hopes

Mojo Rawley Provides Update On His Wrestling Future

I actually watched a lot of Mojo Rawley’s matches on Main Event and thought he was soon going to have a main roster opportunity again. I would’ve paired Rawley with Constable Corbin and they would be the muscle for then general manager Stephanie McMahan. I always imaged they would have the combo of Rawley’s corner elbow and tossing the opponent into the End of Days.

I never understood why the WWE forgot about Rawley. Even going as far to have him bring that up the Shane mentioning that he was forgotten, a segment that led to nothing. Even though I never really saw Rawley as a face of the company type, I still saw him as someone who can round out a stable or be a nice addition to Money in the bank matches and Royal Rumbles.

What do you think of Mojo Rawley and what went wrong in his WWE career?

Is Terminator Due for a Multiverse

Every Terminator Movie, Ranked Worst To Best (Including Dark Fate)

I made a video giving a reason of why I think the Marvel and DC multiverses exist and why both companies are exploring their multiverses in upcoming movies. I believe they want to create one linear timeline going forward which can easily explain away all other movies before their cinematic universes were made.

So that being said, is it time for Terminator to do the same? Yea I know, the Terminator movies haven’t been very good since Judgement Day and the new ones are just trying to reboot the franchises hoping they’d resonate with the fans in some way.

A Terminator multiverse would actually make sense in the scope of the franchise. With all the different reboots and sequels that make little sense, would a multiverse tying everything together actually work? I know it won’t be as iconic as all the Spider-Men from previous movies coming together in one scene, but is it possible they can string together some semblance of a story to tie all these movies into one?

New Terminator movie to have James Cameron's involvement - SlashGear

Realistically the studio has 4 choices.

1 Stop making the moves all together and maybe reboot it 10 years when everyone gets the ad taste of Dark Fate out of their mouth.

2 Reboot the franchise for another time and hope it doesn’t fail. You would have to since Dark Fate did so poorly in the box office and reviews. It wouldn’t make sense financially for a studio to green light a sinking ship

3 Move the story forward past the events of Judgment Day and never speak again of time travel. Terminator Salvation I thought was a really cool movie. Sure, they gave away the biggest reveal in the trailer, but besides that it was a fresh take on the franchise

4 Create a multiverse. I mean what makes more sense. A supersmart robot organization created time travel and would send back robots to destroy the savior of the human race or that a wizard screwed up a forget me spell that split open the fabric of reality and sent forth specific versions of the main character? It kind of seems a little weird when you think of it like that.

All 6 'Terminator' Movies, Ranked Worst to Best (Photos)

I guess I would like to see the franchise continue from Salvation and we get the full man vs machine type of showdown we are always teased in the opening moments, but that’s not what Terminator is about. It’s about seeing the savior of humanity as someone who isn’t ready yet to do that. Watching them rise and fall and try theirs best to come into that future role of themselves. Realizing that at an early age that their lives would never be the same and they have to adapt to a future they can’t stop from coming.

I don’t think the studio can keep throwing money at a dying franchise. Everyone who was fortunate enough to view the original movies can see that new ones don’t hit the mark in the trailers and don’t bother to see them. So, who are they making these movies for? They either need a real solid plan to move this franchise forward or kill it entirely.

But what do you think of a Terminator Multiverse and where do you see this franchise going?

Frankie Kazarian Where Are You?

Kazarian Backstage At Impact—Jay White At Slammiversary

What happened to Frankie Kazarian? First AEW tag team champion, was a great wrestler on Impact, even when he’s cannon fodder he still puts on a show, so why did AEW give up on him? When Christopher Daniels semi-retired it seemed like that was the end for Kazarian. Scorpio Sky teamed with Ethan Page and has been more in the spotlight than Kazarian.

I don’t see much instore for Kazarian’s future in AEW. I see him like a Dolph Ziggler type. Someone who can be the face of the company, but will be pushed aside for other talent. He will be in big number matches like Battle Royals and Casino Ladder Matches, maybe the third on a faction, but never front and center.

So where do you see Frankie Kazarian going in AEW and what feud would you like to see him in?

Matt Hardy AEW Champion?

Matt Hardy Challenges Chris Jericho To The "Elite Deletion" | AEW Dynamite Results (4/8/2020) | All Elite Wrestling - The Overtimer

I read an article about Matt Hardy saying he would love to win the AEW Championship and it got me thinking about his career and if this was an actual possibility. I’ve watched most of Matt Hardy’s wrestling career and I can say with 100% certainty, that Jeff Hardy was the better of the two.

Jeff was the more charismatic of the tag team. He was the more athletic. He had the cooler moves. And when the Hardy Boyz broke up, Jeff went on the win World Championships while Matt did nothing of value. He did win the ECW Championship, but that was a dead brand at the time and was quickly taken off the air.

Matt needed gimmicks in order to be relevant. His Broken/Woken Marr Hardy idea was somehow loved by fans, but it wasn’t something that moved him into the face of the company. Matt blamed the lack of fans for the reason his gimmick didn’t work in AEW. My opinion is it was a dumb idea.

Reintroducing Big Money Matt - YouTube

And now we have Money Matt Hardy which is a faction that was bad from the start. First Private Party joined up with Matt and then the Butcher and Blade for some reason followed to make a faction that is virtually doing nothing. Both of those teams could’ve just found success on their own, but for some reason they decided to make a faction that doesn’t fit at all.

So now we have a Matt Hardy who would like to end his career winning the AEW Championship and sadly I think its too little too late for him. Sometimes tag teams break up and one member is heavily favored over the other. Its not a lack of skill on Matt’s part. He is a very good wrestler. He just didn’t have “it”. As I’m writing this, I’m watching WrestleMania 25 where he beat his brother Jeff with a Twist of Fate as Jeff’s head stuck in a chair. It was a great match overall, but that’s what Matt’s wrestling career is. A few great matches, a few moments that stood out, but no continuous success. All of his gimmicks are either too short or don’t make any sense.

And now we have Jeff who is a free agent and will end up teaming with his brother at some time in the future, but who’s momentum will they kill to do that? When FTR rolled into AEW, they beat the Butcher and Blade who at that time looked like they were poised for a championship run. That’s the big issue I have with AEW is when they bring in some name recognition talent, someone has to be the cannon fodder to make them look great. When the Hardys came back at WrestleMania, that was the year I though Enzo and Big Cass were ready to hold the tag team titles, but the Hardy’s came back and won it.

So to make a long story, my answer is no. Matt Hardy should not win the AEW Championship, Matt Hardy shouldn’t team up with Jeff again and win the AEW Tag Team Titles or be in any major feud, because they aren’t the same guys anymore and AEW already has so much unused talent that we don’t need them being pushed aside again for name recognition.

But what do you guy think about Matt Hardy and do you seem him either winning the AEW Championship or winning the Tag Team Titles with Jeff?

Daniel Garcia The Future?

The future is very bright for Daniel Garcia, but AEW isn’t doing him any favors. The first match I saw of Garcia was when he faced Jon Moxley on Rampage. At first, I didn’t even know the match was going to still happen. There was about 10 minutes left of Rampage and the two men didn’t even make it in the ring yet. I figured it would’ve been like an assault to Moxley before the match and he wouldn’t be able to compete. But the match happened, ended very quickly with Garcia tapping out.

Now at least, we are seeing Garcia featured a lot more, but it’s not in a Hook type of capacity. Garcia isn’t billed as this massive threat to AEW, but I think he should be. I would book Garcia as the best submission artist in AEW. Someone who can make anyone tap out and eventually find himself facing Bryan Danielson in a main event match. It would be cool to see Garcia eventually go against Johnny Gargano when he makes his way over.

Overall, I think Daniel Garcia has super star potential, but I wonder if it’ll be in AEW or somewhere else.

The Blade/The Butcher : Still Hope

Blade On His Wife The Bunny, Butcher Being A Musician, More

When they popped out from under the ring and attacked Cody Rhodes, I knew this was a team that will be a staple in the AEW Tag Team division. Butcher, Blade and Bunny had everything going for them. They haven’t been booked to my expectations since then. As soon as FTR came into the picture, Butcher and Blade were cannon fodder to them. Just go in the ring and make them look good. Which is sad because I think they’re a lot better than FTR.

Now the Bunny is kind of on her own doing nothing and Butcher and Blade are with Matt Hardy for some reason. I think Private Party is as well, so there really is no theme to this team. All 3 members are horribly wasted and should be in the main storyline. I think they have a lot of potential. I would love to see the trio go to the WWE and team with Seth Rollins.

So where do you see the Butcher, Blade and Bunny going forward in AEW and do you think maybe its time for them to go somewhere else?

Jeff Cobb

Jeff Cobb Defends WWE Raw Underground; Says He Signed A Deal With Unnamed Promotion

I find it weird that guys like Jay Lethal, Tony Nese and Bobby Fish all come to AEW with TNT Championship matches and contracts and Jeff Cobb didn’t. Cobb was brought in by Christ Jericho to fight Jon Moxley for 1 match and that was it. The match was ok, I felt like it ended in a botch, but Cobb did look really good. It was my first-time seeing Cobb in the ring and after that match I thought that he would be a member of the inner Circle and have an AEW contract, neither happened.

Especially at that point in AEW’s creation, they could’ve used a guy like Cobb on the roster. This was before Lance Archer, Brian Cage, Powerhouse Hobbs and Brodie Lee were hired so they were in need of a guy like Cobb.

If they would’ve kept Jeff Cobb in AEW who would’ve liked to see him feud with and if he was part of a faction where would you put him?

Marcel Bartel/ Fabian Aichner

The NXT Recap (10/16/19) - Last Word on Pro Wrestling

Without Walter these two men wouldn’t really exist in wrestling. That’s why factions are extremely important. If I was to say Fabian Aichner is going to be a singles star you wouldn’t care. When he was on NXT, he wasn’t doing anything special. So, lets team him with Marcel Bartel. Not a bad partner at all, but isn’t anything to stay up late to see. Now team these two men up with Walter. Someone who can be the face of any company in the world.

Now Bartel and Aichner are going to get a lot more screentime and being around Walter elevates them. Now give the Alexander Wolfe just to grab some extra attention and now you have a faction. Not saying Bartel and Aichner can’t wrestle, it’s just they aren’t unique enough to be pushed to a higher level on their own.

So where do you see Bartel and Aichner going in the future and do they have a chance to be singles stars?

No More Ned

Spider-Man: No Way Home Gives Ned a Power | CBR

It has been reported that Peter Parker’s best friend Ned isn’t returning for the new trilogy of Spider-Man movies. The move isn’t too ridiculous because at the end of No Way Home, everybody forgot who Peter Parker is. So, unless Ned was supposed to return as the villain, which many suspected he would, then there would be no reason to have him back.

I actually would’ve liked the idea of Ned becoming the Hob Goblin or something in that capacity. I also thought that Ned might have some adventures with Doctor Strange since he was able to open up portals and ended up wearing the cape for a moment.

So what do you guys think about Ned not returning?
